About Us

LuLu & Lavigne Home Studio is an independently owned retail shop located in Hamilton, Ontario. The shop houses an eclectic mix of new and vintage home décor items along with an ever-changing array of contemporary lifestyle and baby gift items sourced from the most style-savvy manufacturers. LuLu & Lavigne Home Studio also provides personalized services in Home Staging for Resale, Colour Consultation, Upholstery, Drapery and Custom Sewing.

Owner Heather Coward has a diploma in Furniture Design and Production, a bachelor's degree in marketing and a flair for interior design that has lead to several styling jobs for national and regional decorating and lifestyle magazines. She has run LuLu & Lavigne Home Studio since 2000 alternating between retail and workshop environments.  The current retail location on Locke Street South in Hamilton opened in the Fall of 2007.

Her combined skills as a hands on upholsterer and sewer and training in both marketing and design ensures that she understands the unique nuances of making a home appealing to its owner or to a potential buyer.
